This is an interesting, simple form more redolent of a lemonade glass than a vase - but it has a white metal (unhallmarked) rim.
It is highly iridescent, almost mirrored.
It is 8.5cm high x 6cm in diameter.
The rim is unmarked and doesn't show any signs of oxidation, but is bright, so is most likely chrome.

Cool piece. Could also be a cigarette holder for a smoking set.
Chrome plating as a commercial process began in the mid to late 1920's. My guess is that this would most likely be Nickel plating which had been in use for quite some time and in that time frame was cheaper to apply than Chromium.
