I found these in a cigar box in a shed and thought they were kind of neat. The pink one is a plastic mechanical pencil that screws open to reveal an eraser. It has a hook to hang from a chain.
The brass one is a cartridge that I would guess was designed to hold a pencil with an eraser at one end. It is some type of marketing trinket. The last part says "Safe, Courteous, and Progressive."
I am sure the pink one is just a novelty, but I have only found one so far and it was on turned into a piece of jewelery. Any information on these would be appreciated, especially the pencil.
