Chalk ware woman on chaise lounge hand painted in water color. Obtained from Pensylvania family. Item measures about 24" long about 10" in height 7 to 8" wide very strong presence. Water colors are great with minimal fading as we keep away from light sources.

Thank you for clarification of whom it was made after, by the way my great ... Grandmother was Christine Jehle Romanov but Pauline was definitely very pretty, Christine was they all were treated as property and bargained with as property of men. I do not have many photos of family members, it is nice to match name with sculpture.

The original sculpture should have been done by Canova. The sculpture room at Chatsworth has a number of his sculptures.

I have many trinkets from my family, a book called "Sorg at Trost" by Af Munch which painted "Scream" 1891 the book describes why he painted the scream painting. Would love input as to what items represent, my personal collection over many many years. My great grandfather died aboard the RMS Titanic Philip E Jehle Romanov. Few photos found but interesting to learn about King Edward.

Thank you for the clue, Pauline Sophia Bonapart married to become Christine Jehle Romanov upon marriage becoming an Empress, my great great great great great grandmother, as she is displayed in the figurine. I own her accounts but she owns my heart, my grandmother was Viola Ellen Jehle Romanov Collins, whom unknown to most was Queen Ellen. Following lineage is diffucult when little to no clues are left, but an unknown script from bards who attended her travels gave answers, my ancestry.

She was married through agreement but bard wrote history of her journey from Italy through Russia. Recently read, lost history but still fascinating.

She was long dead before Titanic, her grandson died aboard the Titanic, he altered his name before returning to Europe.
