I just got this large Awaji vase off of ebay. Arrived today. It really exemplifies the art deco style of Awaji pottery. This piece is very well made - heavier than most Awaji pieces. Fully marked - probably 1920-1930.

hello, do you know what the marks in the square translate to?? regards, rob from phiily
one of the marks is the minpei flag. another says 'Made in Japan' and i'm not sure what the other mark is - possibly a chidori.
