I just cannot decipher the name here. I think the third word is 'pottery'. Heavy drip glaze over black matte underglaze (?). 9 inches tall. Mouth is ovoid shape, not completely round. I THINK it is a decanter, but could be a vase, too. Really stunning glaze! Not sure what if the black area is from the kiln? There is a slight scratch that shows that MAYBE the stoneware is white under it. The interior is glazed, at least as far as I can feel.

Can anyone here recognize the name/mark? Thank you!

      ? Looks like a * T * or a * F * starts the first word............and ends with an * S *

The second word might be the word * CERAMIC *

      ?????

The Pottery Identification group on Facebook solved it! Foss Creek in Brisbane CA, 1990. AKA Evans Designs. The company only existed for that one year, 1990.

Wait - Tony Evans the artist started in 1960 in Healdsburg, CA.

"Each work is unique, early pieces molded in most cases entirely by the hand of the founder of Evans Ceramics (now known as Evans Design Group) of Healdsburg, California, started by Tony Evans in 1960 in which they made raku ware (Japanese lead-glazed earthenware).
We believe his work is way undervalued when compared with other ceramcists who sold their work through galleries while Evans concentrated on the decorator and architectural markets. Judge his work by its uniqueness, by his range of glazes. We have two other pieces not yet photographed."

Thanks PedalP. Shakespeare used the word KnickKnackery (sp?) in one of his plays. That was taken when I was joining ebay. So I became the KnickKnackatorian!
