I had to get this but this is as much an ID request as anything. Not seeing much diamond bubble over here, when the chance came to buy something like it, I snapped it up.
So, there are white and acid orange diamonds and bubbles on a clear ground. The bubbles are surrounded by royal blue.
There are horizontal lines around the middle of the neck, almost as if it had a collar, but I am not sure.
    It is a whopper at 26.5cm high x 11cm base x 10cm rim.

The Museum Kunstpalast, Düsseldorf, has this down as Murano ca. 2000 so there it shall go.

It's not often as well that I have to use my coffee table to photograph something!

Ian this has a very Japanese look to me but I am not sure it is so.
The size and the clear case and occasional flaw look good for it.
The shape and cold cut lip do not.
I have a Kurata vase with a similar type of decor but in pink lustre with gold.
I guess like lots of styles many made their own version.
      I really like it!

I agree with karen...I am going to post a very pretty GREEN vase with reminds me of your.......but I think it is Chinese, but very good quality. You can take a look at that post and see if you can see some things kinda the same ....or not.

Nice vase Ian - I think I had been watching this for quite a long time - I could never make up my mind about it's origins. Clearly a very nice thing indeed. Any age to the base?

I've seen this dec before and when I saw it it left me somewhat confused like many of you because the technique is too advanced for cheep production (it's almost like reticello as far as I can see, unfortunately I did not get to handle it to be more confident, or more likely a spin on bullicante... yeah I just inspected pictures more in depth and it's modified bullicante). Very nice piece indeed, if it was made in Murano it would cost multiple times more than whatever you paid for it. It could be Chinese but it also could be Polish or Bulgarian, they are producing some interesting stuff for IKEA type stores.

Hard to say without seeing in person....more lighting in pics may help.
But the vase in the 3rd photo below is what yours instantly reminded me of. Shape looks the same, size seems right and it looks pretty thick/heavy(as is the vase shown in Craigs post).

Hopefully Craig or Jericho will chime in.

Hi Ian and everyone else. I love the pattern. My thought was Italian as the shape and colour are similar to several I have. Murano are the hardest to identify as I think I've explained this

      Cont.
as Murano is an island and you have a variety of artists creating all sorts of style from classic bon..... Always forget it's spelling but you know the stuff, the clear crystal lead type horses and ornamental styl. But then in the 50's they started to produce the beautiful large vases similar to this one in reds, blues and greens. But again as individual artists create for Murano it's just so hard to locate the maker in all cases .... An absolute beauty again.

Thanks for all the comments - I think wherever from that it is too highly manufactured to be Chinese, Roumanian or Polish. Also, a maker would be pushing it to expend this energy on an orange piece when orange isn't exactly trending!
I am not sure about a shape match with Craig's post linked by yesterdaysglass - they would have to sit side by side really, and then we would only go to unknown with a decor link! Unless anyone has the dimensions of that powder vase!?

You mean the vase in craigs post? If so, about 10-10.25". Right around 26.5cm depending how much(or little) they ground down the top.
