I believe this is Chinese -- but a better quality made piece. The vase is quite bulbous, and about 14 inches high, and 7 inches wide. Nothing fancy on the base, nor any wear. I just thought it was pretty with the kinda splashes of foil colors.
Took some photos with/without flash.....

It is a really gorgeous vase Rose. Maybe this appeals to me because it does have an Asian feel to it.
It's definitely not Japanese. I agree with you on Chinese but as you say, a good piece.
The Chinese have been making glass for over a 1000 years - they can do it very well, but market demands and quick production costs have resulted in too many not so good bits.

WOW -- Thanks for the ~ LOVES ~ and it is kinda how the beauty reflects from this. It is more pretty in real life. Hard to get a good pic due to the reflective nature of it. Also sorry for the delay in the Thank yous here. I am not on everyday, and the weather has been STUNNING here with some + 10 temps and the snow is almost gone -- so who wants to be indoors right now.....LOL
