The Diamond Disc was very sad when I got it. The finish had been stripped, the cloth gone from the turntable, the spring broken and the reproducer was bad. A new finish and work on the motor has made it a great machine. The Edisonic reproducer gives it a full, rich tone.
The Model 50 had a chipped diamond and bad diaphragm. After an expert rebuild on the reproducer, I took the motor apart, serviced it, pulled the grungy springs out of the barrel and cleaned them. It works great also!
