Worms and other small ground-creatures often left tunnels in the ground, which then fossilised. I have several small examples like this.

Fossils are usually are "rock stone." Most fossils are the mineralised remains of traces of organisms. Carbon impressions, which this isn't, are different though.

Thank you SpiritBear, good information, can you please help in identifying age.
    3. SpiritBear, 8 years ago
I cannot do age, but as it's lithified (become rock,) it's not from within our time.

If you can find out what type of rock it is exactly, that can always help.

You mean it may be from dinosaur or any other long ancient time, i will surely find out what type of rock it is or may be some other person like you will help me further.

      Thanks SpiritBear.

Science says lie on Earth goes back hundreds of millions of years. Most fossils you find are at least millions of years old. So, probably some dinos around. Early mammal era, maybe.

      Thanks Again SpiritBear,

Can i consult to Archaeology ?
    7. SpiritBear, 8 years ago
Well, archaeologists are more for civilisation. Paleontologists are for other organisms over 15,000 years old (min. age for a fossil, which will still be bone if an animal.)

You can look into fossilised worm holes on Google, though, and maybe find something.

      Good luck!
