I bought a box of beads and odd and end jewelry at a yard sale and this was in the bottom. Don,t have any idea other than its a bib necklace. It has faux pearls on it that show some wear under a loupe. It has a cloth tag on it says japan. It is made of like a string of some kind with gold foil or paper spiraled around it. It is a unique looking piece and would really hope someone knows some info on it. It just has a real old look to it.
