This is a schwinn tiger 3 speed my friend found in a barn. The number is c225051 wich means it was made in March of 1962. I have the original front rim but no tire for it because it is an s-7 rim and I don't want it to get all dinged up on the hard stone floor of our big barn that I keep it in

Don't know if I'm seeing right or not but it looks like this frame has been cut ! Do Not ride this until someone with some knowledge of bicycles looks at it. I think the 'top bar' of the frame, between the seat and the handle bars is missing and this makes it very dangerous. Look on the web at the schwinn site and you will see what I mean...Great find but caution !
OK thanks for the info on my tiger
Is there a way to fix the fram I wondered why it was like that
Best to find another frame and use all those great Schwinn parts on it. Would make a nice bike.
yes it would
How about this one... Same frame. Either go with the Tiger Decals or use your parts and make a really nice Fleet... http://cgi.ebay.com/Schwinn-24-1965-Fleet-frame-chaingard-and-tank-/220771427418?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item336700a45a
Disregard that... It's a 24" Oh well. Keep checking ebay and you'll find just what you need.
