I had seen a pair of beautiful 14" Kosta Boda Fidji vases in the jewelry case at Savers. When the clerk finally showed up to checked the price for me I about fell on the floor...eighty dollars ! OK I know that's a bargain for those but it was way over my budget. I hated leaving them behind. Someone is going to get a great deal on them. So this was the other piece I wanted to see. I wasn't kidding myself that this was ivory but it is ox bone and nicely carved with a bit of heft to it. There's a tiny chip on the back that shows pure white. The pictures are more white but it's actually a nice creamy color. This was the consolation prize...man I really wanted those vases ! -Mike-

Thanks Karen :)....I loved the description of those vases. The artist was inspired by his love of music and organ pipes.
At least the vases were in a local shop. Here the local charity shops sell any good glass on ebay. Your only chance is when they don't know what it is!
