Hi there CW Gang:
Thought I would post my (Vintage) Baby Gift I got many moons ago. All I know as it was a Gift to me.....either when Born or sometime after that. The Spoon was opened and used.....the Knife and Fork are still MIP as they have never been taken out. Marked * BIRKS REGENCY PLATE*. From Birks ( OF Canada ) and I thought I would share a little heirloom item I have here.

lol....I still have my Baby Bracelet too when the Hospital did those Pink beads for Girls back in the day with your Given name...LOL.

..I just wanted to mention here that YES, Parents usually keep our baby Pictures, Baby Book, navel piece ( ?? yes I know people that have), a lock of Baby hair, Christening things, Baby Silver cup, or Spoons like this.
I did all those things for my Son -- but I did one more thing. I realize we keep all these things BUT I also made sure I recorded my son and I talking so I can always Listen back to his cute voice, how he said "MOM" and how he used to say his name. So I just wanted to put that out there -- It is a nice thing to also do is to keep a recording of your Baby talking words..........just HIS words.......No video or anything.....as you focus on just the words ( not the movie )
