I received this bottle as a gift but know nothing about it. The person who gave it to me read me the story of the bottle from the ebay listing. I have
found contradicting stories, that it is a rare collectible and that it is a fake. I cannot find any verification on whether it is a true Coca-Cola item or not. Can anyone help?

If it says Coca-Cola on it but is in this shape, it was owned by a Coca-Cola Bottling Co. in that town/city. They usually put out other flavours of drink, such as Strawberry or Lime soda-pops or even waters.
I'm afraid that I cannot read what the bottle says, but it's style suggest the Art-Deco period of bottles, which began in the '20s and continued into the '40s and likely after that for some.
So it is not a fake, but it is what the Coca-Cola website calls as "Flavour Bottle." As for scarcity, type in its name into Google and see if any in Images pop up. If more than 3 pop up, it is probably not rare.
It looks like it is a nice bottle, though.
