I cannot remember where these 5 pt ruby cluster and emerald cluster drop screwback earrings came from! They look to be silver and
the hallmarks have faded and what letters remain are impossible to read but they look to be from the 1920s in style but could be later ?I am unsure. But they are very pretty anyway.

Yes, they are pretty. The older jewelry seems to have more class compared to what is made today. Possible that the stone are synthetic.

All apperances indicate they are real-not the highest grade, but natural gems.

Also synthetic stones invariably do not have occlusions or general imperfections and tend to have homogeneous traits and appearance.
    4. Bettyb00 Bettyb00, 8 years ago
Is there a reason as to why you believe these gems may be synthetic?
