Can someone please help me determine what kind of desk this is and the year and wood.? I don't know much about it but I like it!

Did you look at the back for any numbers etc ?? 99 % of furniture makers left no records at all, that is something to condsider. I could make a guess but that is only what I see from the rather poor pictures you present.
I cannot find any markings anywhere.I apologize for poor pics.have limited room I'm working with...
You can check underneath drawers and angle the drawer some markings fade away but the impression may be there. If that doesn't work a good place to start is hardware and screws /nails (machine or hand-made). Also check Antique Browser to compare style and wood. Hope tho helps.
