This really is quite large and sits on a wooden tripod.
I was thinking about selling this on Ebay but imagine the cost of shipping would be extroidinary.

Flea you are so funny. It does have an old price tag on it putting the value over a thousand but I am thinking by todays market more around the 4 to 600 price. However I have been wrong before. :)

      You're tough. OK. Fifty then.

Wrong is okay. Look at my Imperial glass vase post.

Very neat looking piece. I didn't know what a Wye transit was so I googled it. BHentry, you probably already know about this site, which came up on the results: http://www.antiquesurveying.com/INSTRUMENTS%20FOR%20SALE.htm.

Hi all, I've seen post 1900 transits do $1200-1400 online. This one is incredible. I posted my 1919 transit on here yesterday. I love this group. Antiquities are a serious passion.
