I found this along with a bunch of miscellaneous screws, nails, and other items people used to put in old cigar boxes. The only marking is the Omega looking pattern stamped into the top with a squiggly line in the middle. It is about 2 inches high, quite heavy for how small it is, smooth all around, and there is no indication that it connects to anything at all. There is a bit of a ring around the top. Maybe it was a stamp of some sort?. Any clues? I'm sure its final use will be a paperweight!
