Happy Easter to all CW folks!
Scarce subject for this "Essex crystal" reverse painted crystal intaglio!
The egg shaped crystal is carved to the reverse, then painted as a miniature, details first and background last.
They are usually backed with mother of pearl, but not this one.
Depict a bunny picking Easter eggs in a basked.
Head of the pin is 1.7 cm or 5/8".
Length is 8 cm or 3.1/8".
Unmarked high carat gold.
