Great wires. There seems to be at least 2 different types of plates used in the Cherry/Wheeler. My specimen has a width of 1.25" and a height of 1.5". The cuts between the points are more extreme leaving only 3/8" of metal at the narrowest point. Recording these differences will help in identifying the number of variations out there.

I am a member of the ABWS and have been collectining wires on and off for more than 30 years. I have been re-energized with the dispersal of the Goedert collection. So many great rarities going to new homes. I will be posting some images of my collection soon.

720B Cherry/Wheeler Measures 15/16" wide by 1" tall. Nearly 1/2" tip to tip on the points.
