The stall holder had this for sale for awhile, so I got the price down and took it away. :-)
There are presently 12 countries which produce jewelry using .800 silver:
Germany
Italy
France
Poland
Switzerland
Spain
Argentina
Japan
Romania
Egypt
Turkey
Lebanon
Some "jewelry connoisseurs" stick their noses up at .800 silver. Still 80% silver, and is stronger than higher grades of silver. And, .800 silver can look every bit as beautiful as higher grades of silver jewelry.
