Not from the seashore but from the Pomona Street Faire I Pomona's antique district. Sadly I got there late as I forgot they were having it that day. Just happened to be going there to check out the antique malls so I got there just as they were starting to pack up.
Everyone had passed up this large shadowbox which is over a foot aon each side and deep enough for some large shells. It was only $8 and the box is worth more than that. The shells were probably worth more than that.
The last photo is how it was when I bought it. I added a few shells and a pair of seahorses.
You were lucky to get it for 8! Your seashells are beautiful in it, love your display :-D
