Looking over this watch I can see the influence of the Omega brand on this piece.
If you were to put a Speedmaster in the case it would look almost alike the real deal.
      Just an observation.

There is no eterna marks in knob, maybe fake.

      Hello Vintage_Joe
Thanks for the info, but the 60s watches did not have signed crowns.

      Hi
But 60's Eterna watches have "Eterna Dots" in winding knob.
    6. Vintage_Joe Vintage_Joe, 8 years ago
Same dots what you have in dial of this watch.

Only look in the movement and backcover can tell for sure.

Secondly there is lot dial variations.

By the way, these dots are 5 bearings. Symbols from 1948 invented automatic movement. There is also new Eterna Super Kontiki serie but only 1973 made.

I had mentioned that there were two Kontiki this one and one with a blue dial. That watch did have a ball bearing signed crown.
Looks like the same year model.
I guess have to buy the other one to see the difference.
      Thanks again for your knowledge

      Hi
It is possible that broken winding knob is changed by clocksmith.
    12. watchnut, 8 years ago
That is a possiblity, but it's so well made I will try to find a stainless steel bracelet It will look smashing.

      G'day Vintage _Joe
Regarding the crown on this watch not being signed,I have noticed on a few sites that sell this kind of watch that there are more without than with.
Either the watchmaker (repair person) is removing them or there is a design issue.
      P. S. I got the vintage Kontiki steel bracelet.
      Cheers

tengo ese mismo reloj en mi muñeca solo que un poco mas deteriorado en la caratula es original de os años 60 con sus 5 rodamientos en la maquinaria y el sello de atrás es oro de 18 kilates
