My husband and I went to our 1st estate auction last month and had a blast, however I think we went a little crazy and bought way too many lots. Among the many other items we know nothing about, I came across this candy dish? sugar bowl? and have been having a hard time finding information on it. I have not been able to locate any marks. It's in beautiful condition, I cannot find any damage. It's about 5 inches wide by 6 inches tall. It has 5 little knobs on the lid that keep it secure, they are in great condition. Can anyone provide any information, like what exactly it is and about when it may have been made? The closest I can find is Fenton Hobnail, but I'm very new to all of this and I'm having a hard time finding the information.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Those knobs are hobnails, this is probably Fenton. Hello! :)

Katherine thank you and 'Hello', the 5 knobs I was referring to are under the lid, they keep it secure. I wasn't sure if that helped to identify it?....

Wow, thank you, Tallcakes ....do you know if this color is Amber or Topaz....and this color went back to 1961??
    8. TallCakes TallCakes, 8 years ago
this one is amber; Fenton did make it in their 'Topaz Opalescent' color which is Vaseline glass. Yes, the amber is in their 1961 and 1965 catalogs
