    LOUMANAL
    (436 items)

While I was looking for some nice Art Glass to bring home from our stay in Florida this spring, my wife was finding some unusual jewelry. I'll be grouping some interesting items to display them at CW in the coming weeks but this Brooch was so unusual that I decided to list it here separately. It is made of Silver (tested) but is completely unmarked. It measures 2 5/8" long by 1" and has Turquoise Stones in a round Cloisonne-type setting and is surrounded by a double rope design. It is completely unsigned but is of such quality that it was certainly made by a very skilled artisan. My question is could it be by N. American artists...Navajo, Zuni etc.. or is it Eastern European...Turkey? Thank you for your input. RER(BOB)

Hi PostCardCollector....thank you for your comments. I agree that it's not Native-American and is most probably Turkish. RER
