We spent the weekend cleaning by hand with SILVO all the silver jewelry we purchased at flea markets, garage sales, estates sales etc..during our 3 month stay in Florida. We tried to follow our budget of "not more than $20.00" and we were successful in 98% of the time. This is a small display of the stuff we brought back. The non-silver items are the brooches (in front) that are from Czechoslovakia and are made of zinc-sterling material and the WEISSCO Bracelet that we dated as being from 1947 is made of Rhodium. The pendant on the chain in the very centre of the 1rst picture is also Czechoslovakian and the glass is quite special. I'll answer your questions on this page if you want more info. on each item. There's always an estate sale or garage sale going on plus we have a lot of thrift shops and the flea market as well... It is a pickers paradise...
We were on the other side of Florida near Tampa and the Estate sales were unbelievable. Of course SELF CONTROL is a must when going sleuthing. You seem to be an expert at it based on your Gold finds. Thanks for the comment. RER (BOB)
