BANG! Soda Bottle? Ever hear of it???????

This is a mystery to us... will very much appreciate any comments. I've scoured the internet for pictures, information about this vintage bottle with no luck at all. No images, no Bang! soda, no nothing.

The bottom says "Duraglas" and I believe its in the 1950 era. It says "Contents 6 fl oz"

Apologize for not cleaning the bottle, but the label is fragile and cleaning it might damage the images. We just dug it from a dump in New Hampshire.

As you can see in the picture it says "BANG!" with a battleship firing a cannon.

    Any clues are greatly appreciated!!!!

Nice! You can carefully clean it with soap & water. The bottom indicates it is from 1951 by the Owens Illinois co. I quick searched and also came up empty, sorry.

Thank you so much for your reply! We came up empty as well on the search. Hope someone can solve the mystery... we are totally perplexed.

Wait two months of letting it dry out in a not sunny, not humid location. Then, with a soft-bristle tooth-brush, gently scrub it with a soft (not harsh) soap-- Dawn, perhaps-- in warm water.

Oh, the ship likely pertains to the Korean War due to the 1951 date-code.
Just a patriotic theme. Always collectible.

Spiritbear have you seen this bottle before?

Is there any other printing on the opposite side of the bottle?

      Thank you for the replies!!!

The other side of the bottle's labeling is the same on both sides. We even got out the magnifying glass to find any clues of its origin. No luck :(

Going to take Spiritbear's recommendation on cleaning it. Since it just came out of the dirt, we have to wait a month before we can post clean pictures lol

And yes caperkid, my fiance has been digging bottles since he was 5 years old he is 45 now and has exhausted his resources on finding another bottle on the internet like this. I fell into the bottle diggin fever when I met him last year... a very fun hobby if you like dirt and mud... lol but I'm a tomboy and think its fun, you never know what will come out of these digs. He laughs at me because I dig caves in the dig sites and he only sees my feet sometimes he says he's going to get me a hat with a light on it like the miners.

Caper Kid, I have not. I've seen similar.

Bottle Digger, it gets addicting. I've been at it only three years, though.

I did not see anything on Google.
