    I found these two men in a antique store near me at first I left them but I could not get them off my mind and had to go back thinking hopefully they would still be there knowing it was ment to be I took them home.

      These are two of the three Chinese Star Gods, loaded with symbolism. The first is Shou, Canopus, Longevity. He is shown here with four of his attributes, a gnarled staff, to which is attached a double gourd flask holding the elixir of long life. In his right hand is the peach of immortality. and on his back the the symbol for Shou, which by itself is read as longevity. The second is Fu, Jupiter, Happiness, with two of his attributes, scholar's dress and a scroll. I wonder if there are marks on the bottoms?
