I'm asking again for your help, CW folks.... Maybe some of you are familiar with this jug. I picked it up yesterday in a charity shop for a pound. Obviously hand painted, approximately 8.5'' tall. The gold gilding is quite worn especially on the handles. Nevertheless I still like it very much. Tried to google it, nothing similar came up. No backstamp, only hand written number 4 on the bottom. I suppose it's a pattern number?

Its quite lovely regardless of its origin. I'm quite sure many of my favorite items are only of value to myself, and yet they are my little treasures. Congratulations on your wonderful new purchase.
