Vale of Woe

I really loved this little poem on front of the 1910 postcard:

"Here's just a line to let you know that I still inhabit this 'vale of woe' made woful more because you fail to make good use of the U.S. mail. Send me a Post Card once in a while, tho' a nice fat later would make me Smile."

Message:
"Dear Hazel:- How are you all? I hear that you were to have a croquet party. Hope you had a good time. Write to me when you find time. With love, your cousin Ethel a. Parmelee"
