All but two of my family photos are from my grandmother's side of the family. This is one of the two. This my grandfather, his two brothers and his father. His father migrated from England and became a rancher in Idaho.
Unlike my grandmother he didn't talk about getting an orange for Christmas. Instead he talked of Buffalo Bill Cody having dinner at his house. As motorcycle dispatch rider in WWI he met General Black Jack Pershing. Pershing recognized him from when they were neighbors.
He never complained and I try to do the same.
