Hand Made 2 3/4" x 1 5/8" x 7/8"
Brass vesta match safe holder with copper inlay and with an iron striker.
F.or J. Smith 1858 inscription
No ideal of origin or MFG.
On further research i found a brass push candlestick were Fred J Smith & Co. is stamp on it and reports the era (1850-1899)
Is there any more info i can find on this Company?
