    the first two shots show garden city flower pots from San Jose, 1940s-60s. these are probably 1950s pots. i don't know anything about the makers of the other two containers.

      I would love to have seen California in the 50,s. These colors remind me of patio lanterns in the summer. My flowers just poked out of the ground.

      San Jose, California, my hometown, in the '50s was a great place for a young kid to grow up in. Back in those days, the nickname for San Jose was THE GARDEN CITY. Today, people call the area SILICON VALLEY.
