Mourning scrapbook from 1879 made by "Mary". Picked up at an estate auction, full of pages of handwritten verse and die-cuts that are glued in place. It is a touching tribute, in remembrance of a sister who passed away. In the second image is the date June 24, 1879 which I infer to be the date her sister passed away. In the third image is the date November 6, 1879 and indication that would have been her sister's 17th birthday.
It was hard to narrow it down to just 4 images. The words in the first image say:
May our loving Jesus hide thee,
Within His Sacred Heart;
And may His Angels guide thee,
Eir Satan claims a part.
