this pendant was purchased at a resale shop. It is 14k gold, wt 0.6oz, and is 2" wide. Hoping to make this a new family heirloom! I would love to know its history.

It is either Our Lady of Walsingham or Our Lady of Czestochowa (Poland) (aka The Black Madonna). Everything in Catholicism is symbolic. Your pendant is not quite sharp enough to decipher all the symbols. You'll have to look closely. I'm going with Mother of Poland. ka Mother of Hungary. She's an enigma.

Our Lady of Walsingham is nearly always shown as being seated on a throne, so I agree with Celiene's other finding - Our Lady of Czestochowa.
