This is a wooden bible case with a carved picture of Saint Francis of Asisi. I am not sure how old but it is worn and the hinges are hand made. The hinges are held with screws so I cant say its very; very old but it must have taken some time to carve, and build such a beautiful case. It measures approximately 13in x 10in x 4 inch. The inside measures 10in x 8in x 3 inches. I wanted to show it off. I collect a lot of religious items some I sell some I hang onto. this might be a keeper.
