I moved into my new apartment back in July of last year and while cleaning above the kitchen cabinets, I discovered these pictures along with another one of apolo 12 on the moon in a negative form. I have been doing some research trying to get more information to find out if these are authentic pictures or one of a kind pictures. I have gone as far as contacting NASA and even trying to going on antiques roadshow, but I am striking out. If anyone can help me out, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

I came across your post here. Might I ask, in what city & state did you discover these photographs? Thanks.

Ann Arbor MI. Do you have information about these photos?

No, I don't have any info about those photos. I came across this site from a search on the Mariner. I have been doing research on my husband's grandfather that had worked at JPL here in Cali. He had died of a brain tumor back in 1992. Since he died that long ago, there's not a lot of info about him out there. I did find some info about him that involves his work on the Mariner IV, specifically on an experiment he did that was included along with it. We know he worked on other Mariner spacecraft that went up in space so he most certainly had worked on this one in the photograph as well. I had thought that maybe those photos had been found out here and might have been from someone that worked at JPL.
