This lamp is a bit of a mystery to us. We've had it for 20 years. My photo does not do it justice!

It dates from the 1880-90's and was made by many lamp companies in the US in different combination of bases, stems and fonts. It would be quite difficult to know who exactly made this one since components for these lamps were made by many suppliers. Sometimes they came with a matching (to the font) shade. The lamps had so many different fonts that no special names were given to these lamps. Bradley Hubbard and Edward Miller were manufacturers associated with these type of "painted stem" lamps. You may want to look them up in online listings. RER

Thank you so much! We have this lamp and a nickle Aladdin Model B that we're putting in our garage sale this weekend, and I'm glad to have a bit of info for potential buyers. Thank you!

Hi! I just re-read my comments and the section in parenthesis should read (to the stem)...just to be accurate. BOB
