I just bought this rocking chair at a second hand store. It is very well built and seems kinda old. I was just wondering if anyone might have an idea of its value and actual age. I was wanting to leave it on my
Covered front porch but if it's antique I'll rethink that idea.

not antique; try researching Nichols & Stone 'Boston Rocker' for values. Still marketed in their 'college and recognition chairs collection'.

You were right TallCakes ???? It is a Nichols & Stine Boston Rocker of the 1960's style and is priced $175.00. Thank you SO much for taking the time to comment. I feel a lot better about keeping it as my porch rocker now and I'm thrilled with the great deal I got on it at the second hand store. Thanks again. Mystery is solved.

Oops ... Sorry for the question marks. I used an Imogene and it inserted question marks. It was a big smiley face :). Because I'm so happy. :) :)
