Had seen ads in RR magazines showing the Egry Despatcher - used to make multiple copies of train orders, but had not seen one in person until I bought this from an area antique dealer. Still has a roll of 1920s train order sheets from the Ft Worth & Denver City.

      How does it work?

The rollers in the base of the machine held two rolls of train order paper. On the right side is a compartment that held a roll of carbon paper. The carbon was placed in between the sheets such that when writing on the top sheet one also made a copy on the bottom.
