I've had this chair for about 50 years, and when I bought it I was told it was built around 1916. I have been unable to determine what it is exactly. It appears to be made of oak or similar hardwood. When I made the purchase it was covered with leather, but badly worn and cracked. The padding in the seat appeared to be horse hair. Unique features include storage boxes in each arm. The reclining mechanism is a push button in the right arm. The foot rest has to be pulled out. Any ideas on who manufactured this chair would be appreciated.

I has something similar from Royal several years ago, but it did not have the elaborate arms. Really cool chair.
