    Hello, I am wondering if anyone has seen this style of table before? I believe they are mid century modern. I love the shape and design! I do not know the maker or history of this style, any input would be appreciated, thank you.

      Hi there ~ WELCOME ~

      Retro table is a Kidney or Atomic Shape I think they were referred to as. Anything on the bottom or the bottom of the top tier. I would say 1950's/1960's era. LOVE them. CA-Ching !!

      I grew up with this kind of furniture This is known as a kidney table. Can't give you a maker without a furniture label.

      You can also go to Google Images and type in '1950s Formica mosaic kidney table' and many different styles will come up.

      I don't remember seeing any tag underneath, I will check under the top tier when I get home.

      most furniture companies, unfortunately, left no info about their company and very few tags on them to identify.

      Well, four years later, I've answered the call. We have a few of these now - same tile but wood top instead of laminate. Dying to find out more. I've be scouring the internet and found a few similar items. If you comment here, I suppose I'll receive a notification.

      A year ago I posted MCM turquoise mosaic tile end tables ... yours have similar characteristics ... mine have the original labels INTERSTATE MOSAIC TILE COMPANY - MIAMI. Wish we could find company catalogs if there were any.
