Back in 1964 I had just gotten out of the Army and cashed in all those saving bonds the military required you to buy. I bought a Inca silver 1959 Corvette that had a 283 ci 270 hp, 2x4's carburetor, 4 speed. One of the first things I did was remove the Corvette wheel covers and put on the "in thing" spinner hubs caps. I bought the 1992 Vet in 1998 from a good friend who took great care in owning this car.

Hi Tom.
My best friend had a 62 convertible. He bought an elan after the vette, wish he had kept the vette. Sure gets a lot of looks. Beautiful photo. I like the faded color in the photo, I am going to see if I can bring in the color a little better for you with my photoshop. I am posting it on my site, can you make a copy then I will take it off of my site. Thanks, Phil.
