    The top turns, the bottom does not. This was given to my mother from her mother and passed onto my wife. We are trying to identify it. Sewing cabinet, sewing caddy, spool holder... Thanks

      Vetra, is that what you call them in dingo country ? LOL! Sewing stand is much shorter & what I've heard them called.
