she is a 1959 horsman doll. I think she could be a princess peggy. I just love how big she is. she is 35 inches tall. I named her Alice. not from Alice in wonderland tho. She just looks like an Alice to me.

She's adorable! I think you are right in thinking she may be a princess peggy. What a beautiful dress. She does look like an Alice! I have two big girls too. Although, one I received had hardly any hair, so I have a wig for her when she is girl. Right now, I have her dressed as a boy. She...err... he is dressed in a pair of swimming trunks, socks and Nike sneakers. He has on a baseball hat, a whistle around his neck and holds a towel. Sort of like a lifeguard. My other girl doll is wearing a little toddler bikini and sandals. They have a beachball, sandcastle maker, and pail too! I change their outfits for each season, holidays etc.
She is adorable! I have several PP Dolls and love them!
