How did I end up buying German WMF Myra glass from the 30's? Because I thought it was Steuben! It is thoroughly documented, down to the pattern numbers, but it still crops up as Tiffany, Steuben or Loetz. Not exactly sturdy--chips easily. Some appear with a paper label. It has two basic hues: a redddish gold and a bluish tint (blau und rot). It is truly spectacular, but not easily found here. Most of my pieces have come from Germany.

I have two Myra vases. The red one is the one on the cover of WMF GLASS by Carlo Burschel. The red-gold iridescence on the interior is some of the best I've seen on any piece regardless of the maker.
