I can't seem to capture the beauty of this bowl on camera, I'm always getting glare. Time to get a photo box.

Anyway, I think this is a "tri-pod" ceramic bowl made by Antonio Rivera but it's not signed and I'm wondering if that's because it wasn't finished to his expectations as you see on the bottom. There is also a spot inside the bowl where the glaze just didn't come out right. There are 3 birds in there and these are also called Fantasia, or fantasia-ware and is 5.25" across.

I know if it were signed, it'd be something of value. Maybe it is anyway???

Does anyone have any guesses on this one?

    /enjoy!

Thank you Karen. A while back when I got it, I actually thought of you because it came from a home full of Japanese items and since it was unmarked, I thought maybe Japanese and you might know about it...turns out I probably got the only thing in there that was from Mexico! haha There were some very cool items there but big $$$. I came out alright tho. xoxo

I wanted to see these photos and had lots of catching up to do here. I have to say, this is really a hard piece to capture in the photos for me and these are the best pics I have been able to get so far! Still working on the camera shots tho!
