Always wanted a 1958 Chevy. We found our Del Ray after looking at Ebay and classifieds all around the country. It was only minutes from home. Didn't get it checked properly and we ended up putting in a new 350 due to the car's V8 being bad. I have been the car business (Cassidy Auto Consulting) for years and I was burned by not taking my own advise. After the new V8, we drove the car in outings with my wife and two tyeenage boys. The adoration of onlookers gave us great times together rather than just watching TV. The other three are two Mercedes and a BMW because they're safe and last if taken care of. Knowing a lot is knowing you don't know everything. I was my own teacher when buying this car but it all worked out...

I know it hurt the originalty of the auto, but that 350 will run longer and have more power than the 265. Especially with the quality gasoline we have today. Beautiful car, thanks for sharing.
