I think that this large sweetgrass yarn basket is either Penobscot or Micmac. [i hope it's the latter, but it doesn't really matter] i just won this on ebay. it's beautifully made and stands about 8" tall by 5" wide.

Sorry to tell you Ho2cultcha, but this is Penobscot :) I have a few string baskets, two are large like this one but one is skinnier and taller than the other one. I also have mini string baskets in a couple of shapes. I just love the artistry of them.
