I've had this ring since the 1960/1970's (got it from one of the older ladies at my church during a rummage sale). I believe it is silver but see no markings. And it looks like it is a purple amethyst scarab but I can't make out carving. The filigree is beautiful but I wore it all the time as a kid/teenager so it is worn. Any thoughts or ideas about it? Thanks.
